How do I thaw the legs?

Move the legs from the freezer to the fridge the night before, ideally 8 to 12 hours. In a hurry, seal them in a bag and submerge in cold water for about 30 to 45 minutes. Never thaw at room temperature or in the microwave, it wrecks the texture.

How do I cook them?

The legs are already cooked before freezing, so you are just reheating. Steam 5 to 7 minutes, bake at 375F for about 10 minutes covered in foil, or grill 4 to 5 minutes per side. The half shell cut means the meat lifts right out, brush with butter and go.

Where is pickup?

Pickup is in the Los Angeles area. The exact pickup address and time window are confirmed when you place your order. Bring a cooler if you have a drive ahead, though the blast frozen legs hold well.

When do you deliver?

We deliver across Southern California on a rolling basis, and we run Northern California delivery once a week. You will get your delivery day when your order is confirmed.

Do you ship outside California?

Yes. We ship frozen to other areas, with the customer covering shipping cost. The crab itself stays at the same $85 per pound no matter where you are.
